"Bought our car last year in September. Upon test driving the vehicle, we noticed the engine was slow when starting. Ger said they’d get it checked and assured us that it’s just the battery, and they’d change it before they deliver the car. Three weeks into driving, it only took longer for us to start the car, approximately 55 seconds to start it. So we had to take our car back, and guess what, the battery wasn’t changed, so they changed it.
Then the drivetrain issue kept popping up, my partner took the car over, and one of the mechanics said the vehicle was lazy, so it was unnecessary to change the valve that was supposedly causing the problem. One day, our car started slowing down while we tried to accelerate, and we stopped on the street. We called the mechanic; they had no record of the issue with the car. We brought the car in twice to get it scanned and called multiple times before the incident. I eventually brought the car in, the mechanic (prob a different one) looked absolutely concerned and even advised us to leave the car. So was it lazy or was it dangerous????
Finally, we got our car fixed. No call, no text, nothing. I had to call multiple times to get an update. They never told us how much it would cost. First, they said they don’t have to valve in Ireland; they might need to get it in Poland. Then they said, "Oh, they’re sending the car to another garage." Suddenly, it was fixed.
Then, 2 weeks later, the car engine overheated, apparently the coolant container cracked. The same hassle happened again, to ask for updates. Rudely being put on hold, which got hung up right after. The service team manager was constantly gone, and even when he or whoever picked up the phone was on the line, there was no info. Finally, today, I reached them, asked bout the car, they said it’s fixed. I asked if they checked the engine as well or maybe other parts of the car that the overheating might damage, the mechanic rudely replied, “Oh, you want me to take apart the engine to check? Because of the leakage, you brought the car in, so we fixed that. “
I was speechless with the attitude.
Then I asked for the price, and guess what? When I went to pick up the car, the mechanic there (not the same guy from the phone) gave me a price of €70 more, and I was like, what??? I made him double-check, and he then charged me the correct amount of money, which I got over the phone.
Honestly, I’m traumatised by my experience here. They sell you the car fast and friendly, but whatever comes after is just no fs given. They are completely unorganised and lack customer service."
